NORTH DAKOTA COUNSELING ASSOCIATION
2025-2026 Counseling Graduate Scholarship Program Application

Applications are currently being accepted! Deadline to apply: 11:59pm November 10, 2025.

To be eligible for the NDCA Scholarship Program students must meet the following criteria:

1. Be enrolled or enrolling in a graduate program in Counseling or other Human Development program (i.e. - school counseling, social work, mental health counseling, college personnel);
2. Be a full-time student enrolled in at least six semester hours of credit applicable toward the counseling or human development degree. Internships are considered full-time; and 
3. Attend an accredited Counseling or Human Development Program at one of the following universities:
   1. North Dakota State University
   2. University of Jamestown
   3. University of Mary
   4. University of North Dakota
   5. Minnesota State University – Moorhead.   
4. Be a member of NDCA.                

Two $1000 scholarships will be made available to two qualifying students for the 2025 - 2026 school year.  If you are selected as the recipient, a check for $1000 will be forwarded to your program advisor and made out jointly in your name and the college's name.  Upon endorsement by both parties, the award will be credited to your account. Scholarship recipients will be announced at the annual conference, scheduled for February 15-17, 2026 in Fargo, ND.
